Alice Iguchi

Alice Iguchi, a DJ currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, found her niche in the city's underground house and techno scene after moving there in 2015. Her musical journey began with DJing in 2017, and she has since crafted an eclectic fusion of sounds that reflects her international experiences. As a child, Alice was captivated by jazz music in her father's car in Tokyo. As a teenager, she played guitar for a rock band in the city before expanding her musical horizons to electronic artists like Radiohead, Bjork, and Massive Attack. Her travels introduced her to house and techno music, as well as percussive instruments from street performers that continue to inspire her today. Alice's unique sound is characterized by a blend of oriental tones, jazz-infused grooves, and organic percussion, often complemented by strategic vocal hooks. She has established residencies at notable clubs like Do Not Sit On The Furniture in Miami and has performed at renowned venues such as the Brooklyn Mirage, Flash in DC, Womb in Tokyo, and Sisyphos in Berlin. Alice has shared the stage with a variety of esteemed artists including Bob Moses, Guy Gerber, DJ Tennis, Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, Rodriguez Jr., Einmusik, Blondish, Matthias Meyer, and Francesca Lombardo.
