Felix Tapes, inspired by African cassette tapes from his father, began playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. Over time, he has experimented with sounds from various global regions, shifting towards a deeper and more atmospheric sound that blends different genres and tempos, encompassing Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music.
