Francesco Passantino
In the late 90s, Francesco Passantino emerged as a DJ, playing at various clubs across Italy. His passion for music, particularly electronic, was evident from an early age, influenced by movie soundtracks. In 1999, he formed Air Kraft Vision with two friends, focusing on progressive and tech-house. This led to performances at prestigious Italian clubs. Simultaneously, Passantino began publishing his own music productions on vinyl. Collaborations and friendships in the 90s resulted in projects such as Paskkal and SpostaMenti. In 2003, he joined SpostaMenti, a project by Francesco Zappala. Establishing Laboraudio studio and Tractorecords label in 2004, Passantino's musical focus remained on tech-house and minimal techno. Collaborations with foreign labels and artists followed, including Steve Stoll and Groove Rebels. His music reached Germany through Whirlpoolsex Music and Keno Records, with the successful "Monosynth" featuring a Kollektiv Turmstrasse remix. Passantino's German collaborations led to performances at renowned clubs across Germany. He also worked with Sabrina Carnevale and Sonartek, having a regular weekly presence on M2O radio show Soundzrise. In 2010, he connected with Berlin artists and, in 2011, co-created the summer event at Delano Beach in Ibiza with Francesco Zappala.
Francesco Passantino played in Tunnel at Sisyphos Ferien In Der Ballachai on 2 August 2025.
