Freak de Philipe, also known as Constantine Koch, is a techno DJ known for his energetic and dynamic sets. His career began in 1998, with a focus on mixing and a goal to conquer the world. Over the years, he has honed his skills and gained a reputation for his powerful, intricate sets. As Freak de Philipe, he has played at various small and private parties, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in techno. His alias, Freak de Philipe, reflects the high-energy nature of his sets. Under the name Constantine Koch, he explores a more refined, less aggressive, yet still minimal sound. This alter ego represents a more restrained approach to reaching ecstasy. Yet, there's always a sense that Freak de Philipe is never far away. Philipp is a co-founder of the Hard&Smart crew, which has been attracting top techno acts to the mid-German hinterland since years. He also has several side projects with fellow DJs and musicians, organizes parties, and occasionally revitalizes small clubs. This includes projects such as Austin/Leipzig and Sparte 13/Naumburg.
