Hypnotic Black Magic

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin and Lisbon-based DJ and producer, known for their ritualistic, trippy, and uplifting sets that transport audiences on euphoric journeys. As the head of the label and event series Art Bei Ton, they have been shaping the scene since 2018 with a focus on hypnotic sounds, psychedelic visuals, and gender-balanced lineups. Inspired by nostalgic and avant-garde electronic sounds, Hypnotic Black Magic's music taste revolves around deep techno, atmospheric ambient, psychedelic sounds, and IDM/tribe. Their sets feature loopy patterns, dreamy pads, groovy rhythms, and trancey basslines, aiming to guide the audience through a cathartic journey. Since immersing themselves in the free party subculture at 15 years old and moving to Berlin at 18, Hypnotic Black Magic's passion for freedom and DIY ethos has driven them to build a supportive community for FLINTA* and queer artists. In 2018, they launched Art Bei Ton and Ambient Sleepers, providing a platform for diverse and marginalized international artists to express their creativity and challenge discriminatory systems.

Hypnotic Black Magic played in Hammahalle at Sisyphos Kosmische Verstrahlung on 8 June 2026, Enternet: World Wide Weg on 20 September 2025 and in Säule at Berghain Art Bei Ton 8th Anniversary on 15 May 2026.
