Electric Indigo is a versatile artist known for her intelligent interpretation of techno and electronic music. As a musician, composer, and DJ, she began her career in Vienna in 1989 and worked at Hard Wax record store in Berlin from 1993 to 1996. In 1998, she founded female:pressure, an international database for female, non-binary, and transgender artists in electronic music and digital arts. Her compositions and live performances often incorporate speech recordings, creating spatial-temporal sound structures for concert spaces, clubs, stage plays, and short films.
