Italo Brutalo

Italo Brutalo is a German DJ and producer known for his genre-defying sound that encompasses elements of EBM, electro, acid, synthwave, and wave. With over 25 years of experience in music production, Italo Brutalo has gained a reputation among fellow artists and DJs, recently featuring on the cover of Das Synthesizer Magazine. His releases span various labels such as Mozzarella Records, Days of Being Wild, Compuphonic, RFR, Nang Records, and his own label Bungalo Disco, which he co-operates with his girlfriend. His latest release, "Heartware," is a long-player that pays homage to the machines that inspired him. Italo Brutalo's sound is characterized by a love for vintage synths and circuit-bending, resulting in a unique blend of rhythms, motifs, and divagations into electro, disco, hip-hop, and kosmische spaces. His sets at venues like Sisyphos showcase this versatility, featuring Detroit techno, acid, Italo, and EBM.
