Kalipo is a prolific force in Berlin's electronic music scene, known for his solo project that blends intense electronics with emotional depth. His sound traverses club culture and indie aesthetics, incorporating elements of Krautrock, Electroclash, House, and Techno from the 2000s and 2010s. Kalipo's style shifts between raw and emotive, encompassing Dark Disco, Electroclash, Wave, Techno, and House. His discography includes five solo albums and numerous singles and remixes on labels like Iptamenos Discos, Ki Records, Get Physical, Audiolith Records, and Heimlich. His releases have been praised by various outlets, and he has collaborated with artists such as Curses, Rampue, and Local Suicide.
Kalipo will be playing in Strand at Sisyphos Gans Im Glück today (Saturday) at 20:00, played in Atlantis at Bucht der Träumer festival 2025 and in Seebühne at Fusion festival 2024.
