Mendel's approach favors sensual moments over quick entertainment, aiming for meaningful experiences on dance floors worldwide. In Amsterdam, he hosts the Ciranda parties, a community-driven event series that showcases upcoming talent, unsung heroes, and occasional legends. Mendel's musical journey began with hip hop influences, but his work at Waxwell Records expanded his musical horizon to encompass Brazilian, Afro, soul, disco, and house genres.
