Robert Owens

Robert Owens, a prominent figure in house music, is a vocalist, DJ, producer, and label owner. Born in Ohio in 1961, he collaborated extensively with Larry Heard in the mid-1980s and formed Fingers Inc. with Ron Wilson. One of his most recognized features, "Tears," was with Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie. His debut solo album, "Rhythms In Me," was released in 1990. Currently, he runs Musical Directions. In recent years, Owens has released several tracks, including "Where You At (Mixes From Various Artists)" in 2026, a compilation featuring deep house and techno tracks on Musical Directions. Other releases include "Love & Peace (Trinidadian Deep Dub)" on Manuscript Records Ukraine in 2025, "Easy" on Eclipser Chaser, and "Rushing" on Truesoul, showcasing his versatility in deep house and tech house styles.

Robert Owens will be playing in Opan at RSO Home Again Festival - 10 Years today (Saturday) at 21:00, played in Opan at RSO Tekknozid on 12 June 2026 and in Wintergarten at Sisyphos Märzklopfen on 21 March 2026.
