Badr

Sarah Badr, under her solo project FRKTL, is a British-Egyptian interdisciplinary artist known for her experimental music. Living between Riga, Cairo, and London, she combines classical training on multiple instruments with live sampling, improvisation, vocal manipulation, field recordings, and generative rhythms to create deeply emotional and immersive soundscapes. Her latest release, Azimuth (2021), showcases her versatility across electronic, classical, folk, world, and country genres, with styles ranging from experimental and ambient to abstract and post-modern.
