Stephen Paultaylor, a Canadian artist, emerged from Prince George with a deep-rooted affection for Eighties synth-pop, evident in his musical style that blends electronic and synth-pop genres. Known for his solo work and as part of the duo Trike, he has released several albums and EPs, including "Synthpop is Dead" (2021), "People Tonight" (2016), and "Single and 17" (EP, 2016). His latest single, "Craving My Affection" (2023), explores themes of obsession and desire, influenced by Synthwave and The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights". His upcoming single features production by Preston Heyman and bass by Derrick McIntyre, both of whom will appear on three songs from his forthcoming album.
