Steven Shade

Steven Shade, known as Pass The Vibe Check, is a Berlin-based artist with a focus on techno and UK grime, blending elements of jungle and breakbeat. Active since 2019, Shade's music carries a warm, hypnotic pulse. Affiliated with the East Collective, Shade has released several tracks and remixes, including "Streetlife (Original Mix)" and "CUZ DEM DUNNO," both available as free downloads. His remix of "Rot" by Dahabflex & Erzin also gained attention, with themes of antifa and migrantifa. Shade's DJ sets showcase his versatile style, with performances at venues such as Sisyphos Hammahalle Berlin and De Fik Amsterdam.

Steven Shade played in Hammahalle at Sisyphos Hot Duck on 4 July 2026, Prostern on 6 April 2026 and NYE: Ducklantis on 2 January 2026.
