The Brvtalist

The Brvtalist is a multidisciplinary platform encompassing DJing, writing, and record label work. Based in Berlin, Germany, this entity, also known as JRS, focuses on the exploration of mutant metropolitan culture through industrial, post-punk, and electronic sounds. Brvtalist Sound Recordings, an extension of the platform, releases a diverse range of tracks by artists such as Duellist, CHAFA, Catástrofe Club, Vahakn, EÒNAN, Mile Dietrich, Kegffnayy, Ireen Amnes, OHES, Black Light Smoke, D Tron X, Ea Sundström, Alina Valentina, L’0NDE N0IRE, Dshanna, Astrid Gnosis, Pura Solenne & HEMPTOTE, exc, BIGALKE, Kai Stein, Endlec, SWARM INTELLIGENCE, Tarens, EFPRNZ, Heden, Unpronounceable, Ason Teva, Decibel Place, Lola Kay, THURI, GLIA, re:akt, KKD, WHØMAN, and Nanzhen Yang. The Brvtalist's DJ sets and mixes, such as New Brvtalism No. 488 and 487, showcase a wide variety of sounds within the electronic and rock genres.

The Brvtalist played in Tunnel at Sisyphos Junimond on 20 June 2026 and in Hammahalle at Sisyphos on 8 September 2024.
