Deep, genre-bending house music from The Pushamann The Pushamann, a 31-year-old artist, bridges the gap between hairdressing and electronic music. He has been a regular at fabric since 2008, also setting up his own label NoN Music and landing a show on Rinse FM. His sets are diverse yet cohesive, merging traditional house grooves, nu disco, deep techno, and venturing into leftfield territory. Influenced by US and UK garage, funk, soul, and disco, The Pushamann's performances are known for igniting dancefloors. His big break came six years ago when Terry Francis booked him at fabric, leading to a constant presence there every three months. Despite his dream residency, he continues to work hard, maintaining a high work ethic in the ever-changing music industry. The Pushamann has played at various venues including Turnmills, Corsica Studios, and Berlin's Kater Holzig, while also hosting his own club night, Nature or Nurture.
