Tiemoko
Tiemoko, born and raised in a Parisian suburb, found solace in the Boom Bap Rap of the 80s and 90s to escape domestic violence. With his cousin Moussa, they spent their free time recording radio rap emissions on cassettes and covering tracks by Assassin, NTM, and Sages Poetes de la Rue. At 14, Tiemoko began writing his own lyrics and co-founded the group Harcelement Textuel in 1995. They gained notoriety through freestyling in the metro and Les Halles, iconic Hip Hop locations at that time. They collaborated with DJs like Cut Killer, Goldfingers, Poska, and started recording in studios. Tiemoko left the group in 2002 and evolved as a solo artist. He released three underground albums and worked with artists such as Sly Johnson from Saian Supa Crew, Dj Coshmar, Kaytranada, and others. Tiemoko is currently working on his retrofuturistic project, scheduled for release in 2025. His discography includes albums like "Tiemosphere" (2022), "La Mixtiem" (2018), "Artiste Peintre" (2011), and "Street Tape" (2011). His sound is a blend of classic Hip Hop and contemporary urban beats.
Tièmoko played in Hammahalle at Sisyphos Duck Side Of The Moon on 9 November 2025.
