VABU

VABU, a collective comprising Harmonie im Bassgewitter, PARA, and Brachland, has been a significant figure in Hamburg's electronic music scene since 2017. Known for their energetic presence, they have transitioned from the dancefloor to the DJ booth, crafting a unique sound at the intersection of House, Tech House, Indie Dance, and Techno. Their sets are characterized by rolling basslines, hypnotic rhythms, deep grooves, and carefully layered melodies, creating a driving yet emotional, powerful yet atmospheric sound. Balancing raw energy with melodic moments, VABU's music moves seamlessly between deep, hypnotic grooves and more driving, euphoric ones. Over the years, they have graced numerous club and festival lineups across Germany, including Feel Festival, Habitat, Deichbrand, Pangea, and MS Dockville. In 2024, VABU ventured into production with "Space Division" on Perspectives Digital compilation, followed by "Anticipation" on Deep Tales in 2025, further developing their melodic, groove-driven, and atmospheric sound.

Vabu played in Dampfer at Sisyphos Kollektiver Kopfsalat on 19 October 2025, Lenz Dance on 23 March 2025 and in Auwald at Prærie festival 2025.
