BIMBAU
Bimbau, born Bruna Colpa, hails from the rhythmic heartland of Brazil, Sao Paulo. Her musical journey began in Paris' club scene and deepened in London's underground, before fully immersing herself in Berlin's DJ culture for four years. Bimbau's sound is a fusion of house, heavy percussions, tribal grooves, and raw 90s vocals, creating intense, percussive sets designed for the dancefloor. Her name pays homage to the Afro-Brazilian instrument berimbau, symbolizing resistance and movement, reflecting her music's ability to traverse cultures and unite people. Releases such as "CNF" (2021) showcase Bimbau's unique blend of electronic and house music. Her sets have graced venues like Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Klunkerkranich, Mensch Meier, Birgit & Bier in Berlin, Silencio in Paris, 1988 Rennes, Wall in Miami, and Omeara in London.
Bimbau hat gespielt im Strand beim Sisyphos Enternal Summer am 27. Juli 2025 und am 27. Juli 2024.
