Bimbau

Bimbau, born Bruna Colpa, is a Paris-based artist with roots in Brazil. Her musical journey began in Sao Paulo before she connected with the club culture of Paris and later London, eventually settling in Berlin for four years to immerse herself in DJ culture. Bimbau's sound is a fusion of house music with heavy percussions, tribal grooves, and raw 90s vocals, creating intense, percussive sets designed for the dancefloor. Her name pays homage to the Afro-Brazilian instrument berimbau, symbolizing resistance and movement. Releases such as "CNF" (2021) showcase her unique blend of electronic and house music. Bimbau has performed at various venues including Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Klunkerkranich, Mensch Meier, Birgit & Bier in Berlin, Silencio in Paris, 1988 Rennes, Wall in Miami, and Omeara in London.
