Julian Reca, a prominent figure in the BCN soul and rhythm & blues scene, has built a career on black beats. His versatile vibe behind the decks is characterized by an exploration of advanced dance music, high octane Disco, crazy-ass synths, boogie funk, and unlimited cool. Since 2016, he co-runs Reel to Real, a Barcelona-based dance club with roots in London. R2R is dedicated to the soulful side of dance music, known for its high energy and unique sound. Julian Reca is recognized as a 'local scene activist' and a long-time supporter of club culture preservation, having participated in some of the city's finest parties such as Glove Party, DROP, Freedonia club, among others. His music has also resonated with cities like London, Manchester, Liverpool, Zurich, Luzern, Milano, NY & Buenos Aires.
