MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND, a Japanese instrumental quartet, is renowned for their original and inspiring organic dance music. Formed in Melbourne in 2013 by REO MATSUMOTO and Koji Matsumoto, the band expanded in 2022 with Kenta Hayashi on guitar and Nory on bass. Their unique sound blends urban vocal beats, HandPan, Didgeridoo, Guitar, Bass, and other instruments, creating a groove-infused, psychedelic, funky, and ambient experience. MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND's music straddles various genres, including Organic Dance music, Psy-Trance, Funk, Chill, Ambient, Electronica, HipHop, and Rock, demonstrating a strong innovative spirit. They have performed in 41 cities across 14 countries and are resident artists at the Ozora Festival in Hungary, where they have played at the Dragon Nest Stage seven times since their debut in 2013.
