Katsuya Sano, also known as DJ Oldboy, is a versatile artist with a rich history in electronic music production. His discography includes releases on DJ Masda's Cabaret records under the alias Ekbox and a split EP with Carl Craig and Jerome Sydenham. With roots dating back to the 80s, he has been instrumental in introducing the New York sound to Tokyo, playing at notable venues such as Yellow, Maniac Love, and AIR. Currently residing in Berlin, Sano continues to produce and DJ, showcasing a keen sense for contemporary sounds.
