Katsuya Sano

Katsuya Sano, known as DJ OLDBOY, is a notable figure in the Japanese electronic music scene. With releases on DJ Masda's Cabaret records under Ekbox and a split EP with Carl Craig and Jerome Sydenham in 2013, his production work showcases a diverse range of styles. As a veteran DJ, Sano began his career in the 80s, introducing the New York sound to Tokyo at venues like Yellow, Maniac Love, and AIR. Currently residing in Berlin, he continues to produce and perform music with a keen sense for innovation.
