UN/POLISHED, a dynamic duo comprising Marcel and Linus, emerged in Berlin's underground scene in 2018. Their shared affinity for house music led to the formation of UN/POLISHED during impromptu b2b sessions. Their unique sound is characterized by its raw, fast-paced, and acid-driven nature, while maintaining a deep house foundation. They gained recognition through performances at various Berlin institutions before the covid lockdown, which prompted them to create their own distinctive sound in the studio. UN/POLISHED's releases on Soundcloud include "Passion" (2022), a dreamy and synth-laden deep house track with acid undertones. Their mixes showcase a blend of house, acidhouse, electro, and disco, as exemplified by their sets like "Live @Hoppetosse Betriebsfeier 30.11.2024" (2025) and "Mix 6.0 'Back to life, back to reality'" (2022).
