Aardy

Aardy, a techno DJ and producer hailing from India, brings a diverse musical soundscape to his productions. With roots in Indian classical, rock, disco, and blues, Aardy's craft has evolved from warehouse settings to larger dance floors worldwide. As the label head of Hydrozoa Recordings since 2015 and A&R for Octopus Recordings, Aardy's releases have garnered global attention. His 2021 outing on Senso Sounds received widespread acclaim from the electronic music community. Aardy's sets encompass a range of genres, including minimal techno, house music, and acid house, as showcased in his DJ mixes on Soundcloud. His passion for experimentative sounds is evident in his founding of Sunday Playground, a coveted gathering in India that promotes new artists.
