DJ and producer angelboy, known as Dorien van Linge, hails from Amsterdam. Their musical style is characterized by a blend of techno, hardgroove, progressive house, electro, trance, and South American rhythms, with an emphasis on groove rather than high-energy dance tracks. Influenced by early 2000s pop and R&B as well as industrial music, angelboy's sets exude a unique combination of sexiness and grit. They have played in various underground spaces, queer parties, and festivals both domestically and internationally. Aside from their DJ work, angelboy is co-founder of the FLINTA* sex-positive party Rubi, a resident at Amsterdam’s queer party The Planet, and host of the monthly Echobox radio show Hysteria. Each episode on Hysteria explores a different emotion through a mix of leftfield sounds.
