angelboy (they/she) is a Dutch DJ, producer, writer, and sociologist known for their sets that blend techno, hardgroove, progressive house, electro, trance, and South American-infused rhythms, with a focus on sensuality and groove. Shaped by early 2000s pop and R&B, as well as industrial textures, they have played at various underground spaces, queer parties, and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. Co-founder of the FLINTA* sex-positive party Rubi, resident at Amsterdam’s queer party The Planet, and host of the monthly Echobox radio show Hysteria, angelboy uses music and nightlife as tools for resistance, intimacy, and joy.
