Christian Smith

Techno DJ and producer Christian Smith is renowned for his bold and innovative approach to the genre. Born in Sweden, his musical tastes were influenced by his childhood years spent in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1995, he established the label Tronic, which has since dominated charts with releases from artists like ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, and Paco Osuna. Tronic's weekly radio show is syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, and Christian's music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists. His sound encompasses Tech-House and Funky Techno, with recent releases on labels such as Bedrock Records and Sudbeat. In addition to his own label, Christian has also released music on Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, and more. His last EP reached the #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in 2024. Christian's weekly Tronic Thursday stream during the pandemic reached over 10M people. Christian has hosted events all over the world, including Ibiza at mega club Eden, and continues to play the best clubs in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His musical journey is marked by a steady flow of releases and collaborations with artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Kevn di serna, and Vantage.
