Their 2023 Music Victoria Award-winning album, 'SOULACOASTA II', showcases their unique sound, characterized by niche samples from films and records sourced during global travels. The duo's breakout singles have been featured in FIFA 23 and Apple's recent iPhone campaign. Their collaborative work with artists like Young Franco, Scrufizzer, and Jay Prince has earned them recognition from tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson and Folamour. Close Counters' live performances are enhanced with live-mapped visuals, dancers, and featured musicians and vocalists, selling out shows across Australia. Their UK and EU summer tour included performances at Lost Village Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, and Defected Malta.
