Floyd Lavine

Floyd Lavine, an electronic DJ and music producer, has traversed the vibrant musical landscapes of Cape Town, London, and Berlin. His sound is a fusion of various genres, drawing inspiration from local South African artists like Oskido and Vinny Da Vinci, as well as the UK's party scene and Berlin's renowned house and techno scene. Establishing RISE, an Afro House collective in Berlin, Floyd has played at notable venues such as Watergate and CTM Festival. In 2021, he launched Afrikan Tales, a label dedicated to pushing fresh new Afro future sounds. His discography includes releases like "Ese Soy Yo" (2023), "Sondela Remix EP" (2019), and "Harare EP" (2019) among others, showcasing his versatility in styles ranging from Tribal House to Tech House.
