Freak de Philipe, a moniker that embodies energetic and captivating techno sets, emerged in 1998. Known for his relentless pursuit of the craft, Freak de Philipe began his DJ journey with a passion for vinyl and a dream to conquer the world. As a founding member of the Hard&Smart crew, Freak de Philipe has attracted renowned techno acts to the mid-German hinterland since years. He also engages in various side projects with fellow DJs and musicians, organizes parties, and occasionally revitalizes small clubs. Notable ventures include Austin/Leipzig and Sparte 13/Naumburg. Under the alias Constantine Koch, Freak de Philipe explores a more refined, less aggressive, yet still minimal yet melodic sound. A subtler approach that ultimately leads to the same ecstatic state. Yet, the Freak always seems to have a hint of mischief around the corner.
