Georg Wedel

Georg Wedel is a disc jockey and producer known for his eclectic mix of disco, Italo-Disco, post-Disco, No Disco, Proto-House, Euro-Disco, 80s Edits, House, Dub, and Techno. Active since 2009, he has been a part of the Peanut Butter Orchestra duo since its inception. Wedel's sound is characterized by a strong individual statement and intense emotion, blending various musical styles to create an engaging trip. His releases and DJ sets often feature edits of tracks from the 80s, with a focus on the German Democratic Republic (GDR) and East Germany. Some of his notable releases include "Diviacchi - Waiting For Heaven (No More Waiting Dub)" and "Silly - Abendstunden (Gegen Morgen Irgendwann Edit)" on SoundCloud. In 2010, he released "Von A Nach B" on Wild Things Box Recordings, and in 2009, he put out "Exchanging" on Supdub Digitales. Wedel has played at various clubs and festivals, including Fusion, Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, and Tresor. In 2026, he performed at Twinstival and Sisyphos Strand.
