Jon Hester

American DJ and Producer Jon Hester, formerly based in Chicago and Minneapolis, now resides in Berlin, Germany. Known for his contributions to techno and house music, Hester has released music on labels such as Rekids, Klockworks, Tresor, Deeply Rooted, Odd Even, and Participation – a label he founded for his own productions and collaborations with artists like Cassy, Tadeo, DJ Shufflemaster, Joel Mull, The Advent, Exos, Lady Starlight, and William Arist. As a performer, Hester has graced the decks at renowned venues including Berghain and Tresor Berlin, Rex Club Paris, fabric London, Shelter Amsterdam, Hi Ibiza, Output New York, Crobar Buenos Aires, TOYTOY Johannesburg, Faust Seoul, and Vent Tokyo. His sound encompasses a wide range of techno styles, as evidenced by his discography that includes releases on Participation, Odd Even, Rekids Special Projects, and REKIDS.
