Le Hutin

Le Hutin, known as Basics Recording, is a French producer, DJ, and label owner. He co-founded De La Groove in 2017 and later established Basics Recording in 2024. His music style is characterized by UK-influenced Garage House, blended with Soul, Funk, and Jazzy elements. Le Hutin's debut full-length LP, The Sexophonist (2021), showcased a fusion of Jazz and Soulful music with UK House beats. His unique sound has earned recognition from various industry platforms. In 2023, he released his album Expectations?!, marking the beginning of his new label, Basics Recording. His recent releases include tracks such as "Tribute To The Afrocatalans" and "Mile End," which showcase a mix of House, Deep House, Garage, Soulful, and Disco genres. Le Hutin has played at iconic venues like Djoon, Rex, Cabaret Sauvage, and La Bellevilloise, sharing the stage with renowned DJs such as Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, and Jimpster.
