Mat.Joe

Mat.Joe, a DJ and producer from Berlin, Germany, is known for a unique blend of house beats with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements. Since February 2024, Matthias Neitzke leads Mat.Joe as an individual, carrying on the legacy built over the past decade. In 2025, Matthias founded his own label, La Bamba, and released several tracks under this imprint, including "La Casita" and "Once Again". He is also a member of the Berlin-based artist collective and imprint, Prima, which he co-founded in August 2021. Mat.Joe's music is characterized by a warm and rough sound, inspired by various sources such as subway rides, late-night showers, and favorite bars. The result is a deep and dancefloor-qualified style that continues to evolve with the ever-changing culture of dance music.
