Mat.joe

DJ and producer Mat.Joe, formerly a duo with Johannes Schulz, is now led by Matthias Neitzke since February 2024. They are known for their unique blend of house beats and rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements, creating a deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough sound. Mat.Joe co-founded the Berlin-based artist collective and imprint Prima in August 2021, alongside C'mon, Otistic & Anacover. In June 2025, Matthias Neitzke established his own label La Bamba, releasing several house tracks such as "La Casita," "Once Again," and "Watch Out." Their recent releases also include "High On Love" on La Bamba, "Can't Get No Love" on Golden Recordings, "AY AY" on Alleanza, and "Close To You" on Fool's Gold Records. Their sound continues to evolve with the ever-changing culture of dance music.
