Joye Mitarakis, a Chilean artist, entered the electronic music scene in 2004, performing frequently at clubs such as La Feria, Bar Central, Sunshine, and others in his home country. In 2009, he moved to Berlin and secured a residency at Club Quinto Sol, where he collaborated with artists like Pier Bucci, Jorge Gonzalez, Ricardo Villalobos, and Argenis Brito, who became a mentor to him. Over the next eight years, Joye played in renowned European clubs, including Ushuaia in Ibiza, Macarena in Barcelona, and Jager in Oslo. In 2017, he established his own vinyl label, PIROS, featuring South American artists like Ema Remedi, Ernesto Ferreyra, Jorge Gonzalez, Federico Molinari, Neik, and Argenis Brito. While PIROS releases an EP annually, Joye has focused on music selection, showcasing his talent at Club der Visionaere in Berlin since 2019. In 2020, the label secured a residency at this beloved Berlin club. Known for minimal cuts, Joye's sets also incorporate break beats, house, electro, and massive bass lines, showcasing his versatility and passion for discovering new sounds. Currently, Joye is working on upcoming PIROS releases and expanding his performances abroad, with planned appearances in Innsbruck, Austria, California, USA, and Tulum, Mexico.
