Pascal Rudert (Insel der Visionen) is a DJ from the generation that demands to be listened to. He selects the best from musical past, present, and future for his sets. Music moves him when it says something special, which can happen through melodies and vocals, a powerful bassline, the arrangement of the song, often all together. Pascal resists being pigeonholed into a specific genre costume due to the numerous fascinating productions that pass between House and Techno. His sets become moving, light, conclusive sound poems, a liberation for heart and feet. With residency at Club Zooma and co-founder of Insel der Visionen based in Dresden, he has found both a home base and a crew with which he presents himself outdoors. In the fast-paced world of the popular, he maintains a brief pause and creates something magical: less ostentatious lifestyle, more craftsmanship – less hollow performance, more concentration. And this he transfers to the dance floor that listens to him.
