DJ and electronic music producer Pawas Gupta, known professionally as Pawas, fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves. With a classical foundation in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, he began his career as a DJ in India at age 17 before relocating to Europe in 2004. His signature sound, often referred to as intelligent house, has been released on respected labels such as Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical, and Night Drive Music.
