Naozou

Berlin-based artist Steffi*, also known as Naozou, is a prominent figure in the techno scene. Originally from Bremen, he began his journey in 2008 with ZUCKER, a subcultural club project that ignited his passion for underground raves and DJing. His career took off as he became a resident DJ at ZUCKER CLUB and collaborated with AUDITIVE, a Bremen-based vinyl label. Steffi* is renowned for his love of deep, emotional, and melancholic music, as well as hypnotic, driving, and dramatically powerful sounds. His sets often showcase these characteristics, making him a sought-after DJ, particularly for early morning hours, after-hours, or closing sets in clubs or at festivals. In 2021, he established Steffi* as his main identity and joined the Partiklub collective, a group of friends and DJs who prioritize community and love for the club and music. His project "NAOZOU" reflects his passion for downtempo and techno, with influences from psytrance evident in his work. In 2026, Steffi* showcased his unique style in sets at Sisyphos and Kater Berlin, earning tags such as deep, progressive, melodic, house, hypnotic, emotional, and raw.
