Zillas On Acid

Zillas on Acid, a duo comprising Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, have been resident DJs at Philadelphia's iconic nightlife institution, Making Time, for eighteen years. Their music spans various labels such as Optimo Music, Les Disques de la Mort, Dischi Autunno, and more. Their releases include the EPs Black Cat (Optimo Music) and She Takes NRG (Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort), as well as Regression Session (2024) on Feines Tier, Mars Hum EP (2024) on Neubau, and The Corinthian (2022) on Dischi Autunno. Their sound encompasses a variety of electronic styles, including techno, house, abstract, acid, breakbeat, synthwave, and tech house. In 2025, they introduced Zillas on Acid LIVE, a new band incarnation that incorporates additional musicians to create slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and ACID for party enthusiasts from all planets.
