Sculptures, the musical alias of Jacobo Garcia Lopez de Araujo, is known for his deep and meticulous selections that breathe life into forgotten gems. His journey began in Madrid's nightlife scene with projects like Self-Care and The Bourbaki, before moving to Barcelona in 2021. Over the years, Sculptures has graced stages at clubs such as Nitsa, Sisyphos, Cafe Berlin, Razzmatazz, Virage Paris, Departamento Studio Bar, Dabadaba, Brilliant Corners, Laut, La Terrrazza, Pikes Hotel, Bar Oriente, and various festivals including Primavera Sound, Soundit, and Kamiwaza. In 2023, Sculptures released tracks on compilations from DRecords and MM Discos, culminating in his debut album under the new moniker. This conceptual record draws inspiration from the hipocratic theory of humors, reflecting a unique artistic identity that continues to evolve.
