DJ Jauche

DJ Jauche, known as Oliver Marquardt, emerged in East Berlin's music scene in the late 1980s, inspired by films and West Berlin radio. His unique style, a blend of house, techno, acid, and breakbeats, gained him a nationwide presence in Germany by the early 1990s. He is recognized for his residency at Berlin's "Walfisch" Club and organizing underground techno parties. In the mid-1990s, DJ Jauche launched his party "Jauchomatic" and later "Night Dimensions" Party Series. His music spans from 1988 to 1995, encompassing deep house sounds that parallel Germany's techno output. In 1998, he established Jetstream Records, releasing tracks such as "Music Always Helps" and "Life is beautiful." Today, DJ Jauche continues to play at various Berlin clubs and releases mixes on Soundcloud. His sets showcase a deep house sound that remains a significant part of his artistic identity.
