Franco-Algerian DJ and producer Elisa Elisa is known for her hybrid sets that feature her distinctive voice. Her debut track Drum Love, released on Heattrax in 2020, reached the top of Beatport's Deep House chart. Subsequent releases include collaborations with Emmanuel Jal on Cacao and tracks on various labels such as HE.SHE.THEY, Nervous, Club Sweat, Stil Vor Talent, and more. Elisa Elisa has performed at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, including UNVRS, Panorama Bar, Pacha, Night Tales, Bohemia, Papaya Playa Project, Antik, Fusion, Dockyard Festival, and others. She has been featured in DJ Mag, Arte, Beatport, and The Lady of the House, a book dedicated to women in house music. Her musical journey began with jazz piano in her hometown Lyon before she discovered the French electronic music scene. A defining moment came when she arrived at Berlin's Watergate Club in 2012 to write her master’s thesis on house music, marking the start of her career. Rooted in both dance culture and her deep cultural heritage, Elisa Elisa crafts a unique sound that reflects her North African roots and gospel ancestry.
