Joal is a Portuguese DJ, producer, and live performer based in Berlin, known for his eclectic sound that blends elements of house and techno with a continuous contamination and commingling of various musical styles. He has released music on renowned labels such as M_nus, Selador, and Knee Deep in Sound, and was the founder of Monog Records from 2010 to 2017. In 2018, he formed the record label Perce with JEPE and Juaau. His recent releases include "Octo" (2022) on Electric Appliances and "The Vanity Duet" (2022) on Eastern Standard, among others.
