Le Hutin

Le Hutin, known professionally as Basics Recording, is a French producer, DJ, and label owner. He co-founded De La Groove in 2017 and later established Basics Recording in 2024. His music style is characterized by UK-influenced Garage House, blended with Soul, Funk, and Jazzy elements, all without the use of samples. Le Hutin's self-taught musical journey began at the age of 11, learning guitar and piano while drawing influences from Punk Rock, Hip-Hop, and Blues. His debut full-length LP, The Sexophonist (2021), showcased a fusion of Jazz and Soulful music with UK House beats. In 2026, he released Tribute To The Afrocatalans under Basics Recording, tagged as House, Musique latine, Deep House, Garage, Soulful, and Soulful House. His discography also includes Ravy Like, categorized as House, Deep House, garage, and Soulful. As a former resident at several iconic venues, Le Hutin has shared the stage with notable DJs such as Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, Jimpster, Mousse T., and many more.
