Dutch DJ and record producer Maddix is recognized for his techno sound, influenced by the old school rave scene and trance. His musical journey began in 2018 with the release of Ecstasy, marking a fresh approach to hard techno kicks, '90s sounds, and acid. Maddix's music has organically evolved towards techno and trance, bringing the rave spirit back to club and festival crowds. His hit singles Heute Nacht and My Gasoline have expanded his global audience significantly. Appearances at major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Dreamstate, Tomorrowland, and headlining tours worldwide are testament to Maddix's growing popularity. In 2023, he launched his own record label Extatic (XTTC), which has since amassed over 500 million streams and reached 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Maddix's collaborations with artists like Armin van Buuren, John Summit, Oliver Heldens/HI-LO, Hardwell, Umek, Space92, and many others have marked a significant impact on the electronic dance music scene. In 2025, Maddix will have his own summer residency at Amnesia Ibiza with his Extatic events.
