Joye Mitarakis, a Chilean DJ and producer, gained prominence in Berlin's club scene after moving there in 2009, where he held a residency at Club Quinto Sol alongside notable artists like Ricardo Villalobos. Known for his versatile style that encompasses minimal cuts, break beats, house, and electro, Mitarakis founded the vinyl label PIROS in 2017, releasing EPs featuring South American artists such as Ema Remedi, Jorge Gonzalez, and Argenis Brito. Currently, he focuses on music selection and holds a residency at Club der Visionaere in Berlin, while also planning upcoming releases and international performances in cities like Innsbruck, California, and Tulum.
