Pawas Gupta, an Indian-born DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin, fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves. With a classical foundation on the tabla and self-taught skills in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, Pawas has released popular tracks like "Katang," "Det," "Playtex EP," "Bummelzug," "Piano Rain," "Naja," and "Camel blues" on respected labels such as Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical, and Night Drive Music. His signature sound is often referred to as intelligent house.
