Reign of Time

Reign of Time, known as Alt-Grounds, is a music duo formed by Stavros Tsiapos and Dimitris Petrichos in Athens, Greece, in 2015. Their unique musical style, often referred to as "Reign of Time style," features ecstatic synth notes, strong bass lines, and groovy drums. The duo frequently performs in Berlin, where they have graced mythical clubs such as Sisyphos, Rummels Bucht, Anomalie, Ritter Butzke, Kullstatte Keller, Birgit und Bier, among others. Their music has taken them to various locations worldwide, including industrial warehouses in Mongolia and UNESCO-protected bathhouses in Moscow. In 2021, they collaborated with renowned Greek director George Koutlis to create a theatre show at the Athens Conservatory that combined theatre play and electronic music. In 2022, they established Arcana, a multifaceted community that operates as a music label and booking agency, releasing their tracks and hosting popular events in Athens like Neoclassical Grounds and Arcana Showcase. They are also members of Blend Athens, the largest and oldest party organizers in Greece and Cyprus.
