Roots Daughters, a duo originating from Pula, Croatia, established in 2009, are passionate advocates of dub/roots music. After relocating to Berlin in 2013, Julie continued their mission, later joining forces with Jahminta Zulu (Vintage Night Cologne). Inspired by Rastafari and Jamaican soundsystem culture, they share vibes, knowledge, and empower each other through their sessions. As vinyl collectors, they showcase Reggae Music's beauty and versatility, from its foundations to recent releases. They also organize events to express and represent female activists in the scene and pay tribute to underappreciated female artists by playing their music, advocating for equal rights and justice.
