Sarah Badr, under her solo project FRKTL, is a British-Egyptian interdisciplinary artist known for her experimental compositions that blend electronic, classical, folk, world, and country genres. Her work features intensely emotive and immersive soundscapes created through live sampling, vocal manipulation, field recordings, and generative rhythms. Notably, she has released several critically acclaimed albums independently, including Excision After Love Collapses (2020) and Azimuth (2021).
