Stephen Paul Taylor, a Canadian artist hailing from Prince George, is known for his synth-pop sound heavily influenced by the music of the 1980s. After graduating from Emily Carr Art University, he embarked on a full-time music career in 2009 with the duo Trike, and later went solo in 2013. His discography includes albums such as "Synthpop is Dead" (2021), "People Tonight" (2016), and EPs like "Single and 17". His latest single, "Craving My Affection", was released in 2023 and features influences from Synthwave and The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights". Upcoming collaborations include Preston Heyman (Kate Bush's drummer) as producer and Derrick McIntyre (Jamiroquai) on bass for several songs from his upcoming album.
