Sudo

Sudo, a techno duo comprising brothers Isao and Takashi Sudo, have been active since the early 2000s. Their sound, a result of their diverse musical background in rock, jazz, and new wave, has been honed over two decades. After relocating to Berlin in 2012, they gained recognition with their Monogram EP on Dubfire’s SCI+TEC in 2016, which became a global hit. This led to releases on MINUS, Break New Soil, and Octopus, increasing their European, North and South American notoriety. Gaining support from industry heavyweights like Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, and Laurent Garnier, Sudo has since released on Cocoon, Tronic, and Drumcode, with their track "Real World" reaching the number one spot in Beatport’s Techno (Peak Time / Driving) Chart. Collaborations with Bart Skills, Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon), and Ken Ishii further cement their position in the electronic music scene. With a promise to continue breaking new ground, Sudo remains a force to be reckoned with in the techno world.
